Early Career Teacher Sessions - The First Five Weeks

You and your students have survived the first day of classes. Now what? This workshop will help us understand the student experience: their time management and workload pressures, especially in the first third of the semester. We will explore ways to organize our courses to give students the ability to manage their own success. In addition, we will emphasize the importance of building transversal competencies (a.k.a. soft skills) that can support and enhance course content.

Open to: Aimed at early career teachers (teachers in their first five years of cegep teaching) but open to all levels of experience, educational roles and institutions.
