As an educator, I want to influence students to think about where they come from and why it matters to their lives today. I love being in the classroom: introducing students to new ideas and learning from them at the same time.
As a researcher, I am currently studying towards a PhD in Anthropology at l’Université de Montréal. My research focuses on developing a formal approach to model the evolution of wayfinding behaviour in Anatomically Modern Homo sapiens. My aim is to employ GIS and agent-based modeling to evaluate cognitive complexity in spatial decision making. I am a member of the UdeM and McGill based Hominid Dispersals Research Group.
I received my previous education at McGill University and the Institute of Archaeology, University College London (UCL).
As a carto-geek, I am always looking for new opportunities to build on my experience with representing spatial knowledge.
