Hello! I’m Gabriel Flacks. I’m a Humanities Teacher and Department Coordinator at Champlain College, Saint-Lambert, Head of Education and co-founder of linkr (linkreducation.com), Cognitive Scientist, and “Musician.”
Since 2006 I’ve been a Humanities Teacher at Champlain College Saint-Lambert, Montreal, Quebec, and since 2013, I’ve served as Department Chair. During my career at Champlain, I’ve spent many hours working with students in active learning and blended learning contexts.
To that end, I’ve also been developing (with a wonderful team) a space and community to support global and local teacher and student collaboration since 2012, culminating in the dozens of countries and hundreds of institutions using linkr to facilitate active learning with computers as part of a global educational network.
I’ve been enjoying Saltise over the last few years and am happy to be a part of the Saltise community!
