Early Career Teacher Session - Designing Courses that Spark Student Engagement

During this interactive session, you will be introduced to pedagogical strategies and techno-pedagogical tools that can contribute to fostering students’ engagement, collaboration and motivation in your class.

We will explore research-based frameworks and tips to implement before, during and after class. Be ready to dive into key elements when creating online asynchronous activities employing tools such as Moodle, Teams and Kahoot.
Join us as we discover together new and innovative ways that we can help students engage and collaborate in a community of learners, become more technologically literate and be prepared for their future.

Open to: Aimed at early career teachers (teachers in their first five years of CEGEP teaching) but open to all levels of experience, educational roles and institutions.
