Join our intercollegiate ECT Team, where you can find resources on all things teaching and learning, including assessment, class management, student success, and more. Attend online sessions to connect with teachers, ped counsellors, and other college educators from across the cégep network and discuss topics relevant to your teaching reality. Types of Webinars and Workshops We Provide

The First Five Weeks

You and your students have survived the first week of classes. Now what? This workshop will help us understand the student experience: their time management and workload pressures, especially in the first third of the semester. We will explore ways to organize our courses to give students the ability to manage their own success. In addition, we will emphasize the importance of building transversal competencies that can support and enhance course content.

The Power of Peers

When students work together, they not only learn from one another but also strengthen their critical thinking, communication, and shared ownership of learning. Join us as we explore some practical ways to foster peer collaboration—through structured groupwork, case studies, review presentations, and two‑stage tests—that deepen understanding, boost engagement, and nurture team building skills in the classroom.

Triumphs and Trials

It may be hard to believe that we are entering the final third of the semester! Join us while we share our successes so far and work to co-create solutions to ongoing challenges. It is an opportunity to look back at what has gone well… or less well… and to look ahead at what we want to grow further… or nip in the bud.

Making Moodle Magic

This workshop focuses on different course formats and themes that can be used in Moodle. Additionally, it will explore the following activities: Wiki, Glossary, Database for collaboration, and Feedback for creating a needs assessment and gathering feedback. Finally, manual grade entries and categories will be discussed.
